We had dinner at Shik Do Rak in Garden Grove last night while visiting Orange County with friends, and it was such a fun experience! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The meats were high quality, and everything paired perfectly with the variety of side dishes. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place to gather with friends and enjoy a meal together. Service was also attentive despite how busy the restaurant was. We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back next time we’re in Orange County!

This place is very unique! I didn't like it or understand it when my daughter took me the first time, but it grows on you each visit! You cook everything yourself, so you have to be patient, when your starving it's hard! Not very seasoned food. They give you hot sauce, sesame oil and a beef brine - I always order the $33 all you can eat option. We order brisket, marinated short rib, garlic pork belly and sometimes the marinated chicken - and a bowl of mushrooms and onions. We also upgrade to fried rice instead of white rice, and get a steamed egg to add to the rice. That's my recommendation! There are lots of other meats to choose from but they take forever to cook and alot of them are very fatty. Not for me - I like it lean. You should definitely try this place at least once! If you get a good server - they joke and laugh with you, they will help you cook and visit your table often. If the server is busy or not diligent it can be frustrating because you have to wait on them to bring you everything...

First time here in a while. Everything is updated so the atmosphere was on point. Our server (Patrick) was very aware and personal. He took care of our group of 12 people with ease! He provided an enjoyable experience. The squid and briskets were fresh and tasted good. Don't forget the free yogurt after your meal. Thank you for providing us with great service!

This was my first time coming to this location. I actually enjoyed it. The service was great. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. They made sure our table was taken care of. They constantly kept asking if we needed any of our Banchans refilled and meat. Everything was delicious. Then again we came before everyone coming in during lunch. The place was clean. The fact they have soft serve yogurt is great after you have your meal. I would highly recommend this place. Don't know why other people had a bad experience. But to each of their own. You can tell when you come here their pretty popular. So best time to come would be when they open. Thanks for having us=]. Fast. Affordable and yummy
